María Carbajo is an actress born in Vigo who lives between Madrid and Barcelona. She develops her work in film, television, theatre, and voice, with a career that spans feature films, short films, series, advertising, and the stage.

She has a solid background in acting, dance, and voice. She trained at the Centro Estable Teatro de la Danza and at the Ángel Gutiérrez School of Dramatic Art, where she delved into the methods of Stanislavski, Meyerhold, and Vakhtangov. She continues her training on an ongoing basis in on-camera acting, physical expression, movement, voice, and dubbing, working with professionals such as Arnold Taraborelli, Gemma Reguant, Concha Doñaque, and Núria Mediavilla, among others, consolidating a natural, precise, and organic acting style.

Her special interest in audiovisual performance has led her to specialize in on-camera work with directors such as María Ripoll, David Casademunt, Fernando Trullols, Senem Tüzen, Luis Montesinos, and Enric Folch. These seminars have been key in refining her ability to convey emotional truth and the authenticity of characters on screen.

In film, she has taken part in projects such as El Lambo de San Blas (David Sendín), Aurora (Diego Rodríguez), Como en casa (Honorato Ruiz and Joel Adán), Blog (Elena Trapé), and Belmonte (Juan Sebastián Bollaín). In television, she has worked on series and TV movies for Antena 3, TVE, and TV3, notably appearing in productions such as the miniseries Mariel and the TV series Ambiciones.

Alongside her acting work, she has developed experience in production for major operas and festivals, as well as in character design, makeup, and costume for film, television, and advertising. She has also collaborated on audiovisual and educational projects for brands such as Novartis, Amazon, and BBVA, contributing her voice and presence across different communication formats.

She speaks English and Catalan. She is currently continuing to deepen her work in dubbing. Her commitment to the craft and her ongoing training reflect a continuous pursuit of artistic and professional growth.

Her goal is to continue developing in the world of art and acting, bringing her passion, sensitivity, and professionalism to new projects.
